s2309: (June)
Because why not? :D

I already have ideas for stories that fit quite a few of the squares (those are in pink) but I'm very happy to be prompted for the others!

Card! )
s2309: (Neal&Sara 3)
Title: Don't Need A Dozen Roses
Characters (Pairings) Sara Ellis, Neal Caffrey, Mozzie, (Sara/Neal)
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 6456
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: Sara Ellis is confronted with a case that promises to be just as exciting as she expects it to be and a client who's going to be a pain in rather more unexpected ways.
Content Note: This story portrays the very beginning of a D/s relationship. If you'd like to know anything at all about kinks mentioned or explored in this story, please don't hesitate to PM me.
Author's Note: This fic is for [livejournal.com profile] citrinesunset, for the [livejournal.com profile] wcpairings exchange, with love. I hope you enjoy it! It follows one of your prompts as closely as I could manage. And I am so sorry for the delay!!! Real life staged multiple interventions.
Be warned, italics have been merrily overused.
Pardon the formal register of my writing - I've been watching far too much of The Royals.
The title's from the Nicki Minaj song Get On Your Knees. I would call it the anthem of this fic if my words didn't always end up this damned sappy. As things are, this fic is also inspired by Same Old Same Old, Dust to Dust, Eavesdrop, Disarm, and Poison and Wine, all by The Civil Wars, all delightfully angsty. The Civil Wars write and sing the best Neal/Sara songs. (Disarm is a cover, for the record.)
Sara's a lawyer in this AU. I, however, am not. (In this AU or in real life.) And even if I was, I still wouldn't have much of a clue of the American legal system, which is not the same as the Indian one. So I bullshitted my way through the legal stuff. Most of it is probably inaccurate. Prior warning issued. Sorry not sorry.
There will be more in this verse! Maybe. Look to Can't Hold You Closer Than This for my (totally nonexistent, I can assure you) reliability with delivering on fic-related promises. (This one might just get written, though, because it's mainly sexy fun times. No promises!)
I will give this fic another editorial look-over tomorrow, because I am paranoid as fuck.
Why are my fics turning into such lengthy monsters lately??? What happened to nice little thousand word fics???

The first time Sara Ellis lays eyes on Neal Caffrey, nothing remarkable happens. )
s2309: (Rachel 01)
Title: Get With The Program
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey, Rachel Turner (Rachel/Neal, with consent issues)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 212
Spoilers: Through Season 5
Content Notes: Kidnapping, threat of violence.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: With Neal, there's always been a line that Rachel wouldn't cross, somewhere between wanting his love at any cost and not hurting him. What if that line didn't exist?
Author's Note: Written late last night for the prompt 'cry me a river' for TVU bingo. Inspiration (and a direct quote) drawn from Maya Lewis (Olivia Pope's mother)'s line in Scandal: "He ruined you. Cry me a river, Livvie. Whatever."
If you want cheerful rainbow unicorn fic, you're gonna have to look elsewhere. Sorry not sorry.

Rachel. Of course. )
s2309: (Kate)
These are all the fills for the prompt me meme that I posted as an apology for not doing shit for fandom_stocking. They're tiny because I wasn't really writing when I posted the meme, and now I have so many other ideas that IDK what to do with commentfic prompts XD

[livejournal.com profile] aragarna requested a canon compliant Peter-centric ficlet.

[livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 requested a ficlet for a very lovely picture prompt.

[livejournal.com profile] sherylyn requested something Neal-related.

[livejournal.com profile] caseyf123 requested anything Neal.

[livejournal.com profile] sheenianni requested Neal/Sara.

[livejournal.com profile] treonb requested Mozzie + "I knew they would come".
s2309: (Peter 2)
Title: come away to the darkness
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey, Peter Burke, Elizabeth Burke (background Peter/El)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 1025
Spoilers: None. Set somewhere in S5
Content Notes: GSW. Blood. No suicidal ideation.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: Neal is more okay with the thought of dying than he ever thought he'd be.
Author's Note: I have no idea when this was written. (I think I PM'd it to [livejournal.com profile] kanarek13 for her birthday?) But I just found it in my drive and I figured, why not. Cleaned it up a little, axed a few words and sentences, and here it is. Title's from Come Away To The Water by Maroon 5 featuring Rozzi Crane.

Bleeding, fading, dying is more peaceful than Neal thought it would be. )
s2309: (Rebecca)
I've finally updated my masterlist! After over a year! Anyone who wanted a long list of my fanworks can click here and see it now c:

I have a bunch of things I've wanted to ramble about since yesterday. But today sucked, so let's start with that.

are you sure you want to click this? are you sure you're sure? *g* )
s2309: (Elizabeth 2)
Title: Don't Let This Line Go Slack
Characters (Pairings): Elizabeth Burke, Sara Ellis, Peter Burke (Elizabeth/Peter)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2064
Spoilers: Till at least 6x01
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: Elizabeth's move to D.C. has her off balance.
Author's Note: For [livejournal.com profile] runthecon, for the prompts 'New Beginnings' and 'Last But Not Least'. Unbetaed, written in a hurry, a little shit. Title from Transcontinental, 1:30 AM by Vienna Teng.
AU from end S5 in which Rachel is arrested but Neal isn't kidnapped, because I don't need that chaos going on in the background. I think I finished this just in time just a teensy bit late only because I dropped this little Neal+Sara plotline I had in my head. And it's still only half a story. Ugh.
I haven't posted a proper fic here in ages. I forgot how fidgety things get when you try to align things to the centre. Oh, commentfics, you are so simple and I adore you <3

She has only three framed pictures of Peter. )
s2309: (writing)
What it says on the tin. There are a million other things I should be writing, but first, I need my writing mojo back. I haven't written in over a month.

I'll be filling prompts in the comments, probably in order, but I don't know yet. It will probably all be shit. I do not care. I'm gonna write.

This challenge is originally by Sunshockk on deviantart.

Also, yes, I'm alive. I may or may not throw out a life updates post later. It may or may not be flocked.
s2309: (heart)
I'm not crossposting these, so no header. I wrote these last night at about one a.m. for writerverse's lightning round, these are the first words I've written in a while, they're probably shit. Mostly here for the sake of having one single place for all my fanfic.

100 words each. Sara&Emily x 2, Sara/Bryan, Sara/Neal x 2. Rated R because of one curse word. Be prepared for too many damn heart metaphors and angst and internal contradictions. Sleepy writings. Whatever.

s2309: (Neal 2)
Title: North Light Comes
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey, Peter Burke, Elizabeth Burke (Peter/El).
Rating: PG
Word Count: 1169
Spoilers: Vague for S3 & 4. Minor reference to S05E04.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Author's Note: Set post anklet, ignoring S6. Written for Challenge 14 in the current Writerverse phase. Title is a lyric from Overcome by Better Than Ezra.
This is basically proof of life. Posting from phone, I apologise for any mistakes in advance. Will tag + xpost + edit this on Monday, because phone.
This is a (very short) sequel to When All Else In You Turns And Runs, in which Neal has essential tremor, restricted to his right hand during this fic and the previous one. I'm fairly sure that that fic is in my masterpost, for anyone who wants to read it before this.
This is not the first time I've written a drunk/dazed Neal on the Burkes' doorstep. I think he's adorable when he's a little loopy and craving affection. Recurring theme, will try not to repeat, etc.
Can you tell that it's late and I'm a little loopy myself?

Neal shivered as he paced across the length of the Burkes' doorstep. )

Title: Remnants Of A Voice And Smile
Characters (Pairings): Elizabeth Burke, Mozzie, Sara Ellis, Peter Burke, Neal Caffrey (background Peter/El and Neal/Sara)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 2431
Beta Credit: [livejournal.com profile] percygranger, thank you so much!! ^^ I fiddled with a few things after she went over it, so that's all on me C:
Spoilers: S06E06 (Au Revoir)
Content Notes: Grief. Run on sentences.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: After the funeral, everyone tries to heal.
Author's Note: Title from Say Uncle by Vienna Teng. Originally written for [livejournal.com profile] elrhiarhodan's promptfest, for her prompt, 'Hiding Out By Day'. Also, I'm still angry at Neal. I have no apologies.

By some consensus that was reached when she wasn't listening, everyone gathers in their living room. )

So this is a thing I found somewhere on the LJ internet, and was going to post as soon as tests got over, but turns out, I'm a forgetful person.

Pick two numbers from 1 to 1544 and give me a character or a pairing (friendship pairings are totally cool also), and I will write you a ficlet thing based on one of the songs that the numbers represent!

Two numbers because I am unbelievably finicky about songs and whether or not they go with a character/pairing and you picking two songs increases the odds of you picking a song that I feel goes with the character/pairing you picked. If you get lucky and both songs fit the character/pairing, you may just get two ficlets! If you get super unlucky and both songs are songs I can't or won't write to, you can just pick more numbers. C:

White Collar is obviously my main fandom, but I'm willing to try my hand at Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD, and... yeah, that's it. I still feel like I don't know enough about Natasha Romanoff to write her, sadly. And besides, I'm barely in these fandoms.

You should have seen me before this post though, I was downloading music like it was necessary for every song I've ever loved to be in my iTunes before this meme. (They keep disappearing because the drive I store my music on keeps crashing. Oh, the sweet days when I actually had all the songs I love.) I failed, because even I cannot download a thousand songs in an evening.
