1. Describe your comfort zone—a typical you-fic.

A one shot, usually less than 2k, with oodles and oodles of angst. I'm a bit of an angst junkie :P Usually Neal+Peter or Neal/Sara, or an angsty character study. Basically, angst :D

4. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Care to share one of them?

OMG, don't even get me started on this one. I have so many different ideas, and I'm so terrified that none of them will get written down because I suck at longfic :(

The standout of the lot is this giant massive rethinking of Neal's entire life. I have a plot going from when he's 18 and has just arrived in NYC till his death a happily ever after. It's a bit of a what if - if Neal and Moz don't team up, how would Neal's life go?

26. Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you?

Yes, I do. And, as I mentioned above, I'm a bit of a cannibal when it comes to my own work :P If I'm not happy with something, I rip it apart and rewrite, doesn't matter if it's huge chunks, doesn't matter if it's the entire story. Unless I don't feel at least halfway okay about my work, I don't post.

With my own fic, I'm usually very quick. 'When in doubt, cut and rewrite' tends to be the principal under which I operate, so I don't usually get stuck on one little detail.

And usually, if this is a short fic that doesn't have problems, the whole writing-and-editing process takes under 24 hours. If I'm nervous about something, I get someone to preread and hold my hand.

35. Would you ever kill off a canon character?

My enabler will probably kill me for this (ha), but yes, I would. Don't get me wrong, I'd be sobbing right along with all the characters left behind, but yes, I think I could. I actually have very tentative plans to end one of my unwritten ideas with a deathfic, but I'll probably scrap it because it's too damn sad.
