I'm doing this now because when it was going around earlier, exams were right around the corner and I didn't *have* thirty days. :P

Day 1 - Your favourite song

I know, it's a cliche, everyone's heard it, but I can listen to Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol any time. No matter what kind of mood I'm in. It's just one of those songs. It's peaceful and soft and just angsty enough to tide me over when I'm sad but not so angsty that I can't listen to it when I'm happy. It's perfect.

I haven't linked to the official video because it skips over the instrumental in the beginning. Which is totally unfair.

The Hymn Of Acxiom by Vienna Teng. Holy shit, The Hymn Of Acxiom. It's haunting and hypnotic and says everything about the internet and surveillance that I was dimly aware of but never quite got around to putting into words. It's been playing in my head almost constantly for the past three days.
