[Background for you if you magically got here without being linked to it - I wrote this up as part of my fandom stocking post when I asked for music recs, and then realized that it was a bit, ahem, long.]

[Oh, and yes, I have a stocking! I'll make sure to link to it when it's up :D]

Genre talk. )

This brings me to the conclusion of this long winded ramble on music I love. I hope it helped! And even if it didn't, I hope you had fun!

s2309: (Rachel 01)
Title: Get With The Program
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey, Rachel Turner (Rachel/Neal, with consent issues)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 212
Spoilers: Through Season 5
Content Notes: Kidnapping, threat of violence.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: With Neal, there's always been a line that Rachel wouldn't cross, somewhere between wanting his love at any cost and not hurting him. What if that line didn't exist?
Author's Note: Written late last night for the prompt 'cry me a river' for TVU bingo. Inspiration (and a direct quote) drawn from Maya Lewis (Olivia Pope's mother)'s line in Scandal: "He ruined you. Cry me a river, Livvie. Whatever."
If you want cheerful rainbow unicorn fic, you're gonna have to look elsewhere. Sorry not sorry.

Rachel. Of course. )

I've finally updated my masterlist! After over a year! Anyone who wanted a long list of my fanworks can click here and see it now c:

I have a bunch of things I've wanted to ramble about since yesterday. But today sucked, so let's start with that.

are you sure you want to click this? are you sure you're sure? *g* )

I'm not crossposting these, so no header. I wrote these last night at about one a.m. for writerverse's lightning round, these are the first words I've written in a while, they're probably shit. Mostly here for the sake of having one single place for all my fanfic.

100 words each. Sara&Emily x 2, Sara/Bryan, Sara/Neal x 2. Rated R because of one curse word. Be prepared for too many damn heart metaphors and angst and internal contradictions. Sleepy writings. Whatever.

It's starting to look like I'll have to play catch up with Halfamoon tomorrow. I'm in the middle of an essay which will not be done before midnight, by which time I will need to sleep. If anyone minds my posting two fics tomorrow, speak now or forever hold your peace (WHY DO I DO THIS OH DEAR GOD).
s2309: (Neal 4)
Title: Burnt Out Flames Should Never Reignite
Characters (Pairings): Peter Burke, Neal Caffrey, Elizabeth Burke (background Peter/El)
Rating: R - curse words, lots of them (at least by my usual standards).
Word Count: 1197
Spoilers: None, I think.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: Peter's lost quite a few keys.
Author's Note: Post anklet, Neal's left for parts unknown. Title from Home by Daughter.
This is for [livejournal.com profile] joy2190, who left me this prompt way back when, and it caught my eye so here you go. Sorry for the ridiculous delay. I'm so terrible with prompts it's not funny.
I'm sorry, but I literally cannot arrange words any other way, there are way too many run on sentences, and a not exactly happy ending, but this is the only way words are cooperating with me right now. I'm sorry.

He's been dropping keys all over the place ever since Neal's anklet was unlocked for the last time. )
s2309: (Rachel 01)

Summary: Rachel's thoughts on Neal and Rebecca's first date.
Author's Note: For a challenge at gameofcards.
Title's from the Vienna Teng song of the same name.
I'm sorry, I'm completely blocked for Peter&Neal D: This is a thing I wrote a while back, it's only here for completeness' sake.

Never kill a boy on the first date. )
s2309: (Sara)
Title: Ink
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey, Sara Ellis (Neal/Sara)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 382
Spoilers: S02E15 (Sara's backstory)

So LJ has been pretty laced with bugs lately. First there was the one that turned the cut into about a page's worth of space, now there's the one that doesn't stop telling me that there are new entries when there actually aren't. And I *hate* the new look.

But all of you are here. And I can't just up and leave because a stupid bug is driving me crazy.

But I do need alternatives.

I've heard of Dreamwitdh allowing crossposts to LJ, though that doesn't make too much sense to me, so if someone could help me make sense of that and/or Dreamwidth in general, that would be great. (I have an account under the same name already)

Also, should I consider backing up all my fic to AO3? I have posted some stuff there in other fandoms, but my WC fic is all here.

So basically, LJ is driving me nuts, I need to not access this site while still, well, accessing this site, any advice?

ETA - I usually use Torch, but the bugs are showing up on Chrome and Firefox as well. I am using the old version of LJ, with the /feed as my friends page.

Oh, and there's another bug that messes with the 'recent' comments section (ETA2 - ALL THE SECTIONS, WTF)of that new blue bar on the home page. Seriously, LJ, if you're trying to make me ragequit, just up and say it.
