Pardon the formal register of my writing - I've been watching far too much of The Royals.
The title's from the Nicki Minaj song Get On Your Knees. I would call it the anthem of this fic if my words didn't always end up this damned sappy. As things are, this fic is also inspired by Same Old Same Old, Dust to Dust, Eavesdrop, Disarm, and Poison and Wine, all by The Civil Wars, all delightfully angsty. The Civil Wars write and sing the best Neal/Sara songs. (Disarm is a cover, for the record.)
Sara's a lawyer in this AU. I, however, am not. (In this AU or in real life.) And even if I was, I still wouldn't have much of a clue of the American legal system, which is not the same as the Indian one. So I bullshitted my way through the legal stuff. Most of it is probably inaccurate. Prior warning issued. Sorry not sorry.
There will be more in this verse! Maybe. Look to Can't Hold You Closer Than This for my (totally nonexistent, I can assure you) reliability with delivering on fic-related promises. (This one might just get written, though, because it's mainly sexy fun times. No promises!)

This is a (very short) sequel to When All Else In You Turns And Runs, in which Neal has essential tremor, restricted to his right hand during this fic and the previous one. I'm fairly sure that that fic is in my masterpost, for anyone who wants to read it before this.
This is not the first time I've written a drunk/dazed Neal on the Burkes' doorstep. I think he's adorable when he's a little loopy and craving affection. Recurring theme, will try not to repeat, etc.

So this is a thing I found somewhere on the LJ internet, and was going to post as soon as tests got over, but turns out, I'm a forgetful person.

Pick two numbers from 1 to 1544 and give me a character or a pairing (friendship pairings are totally cool also), and I will write you a ficlet thing based on one of the songs that the numbers represent!

Two numbers because I am unbelievably finicky about songs and whether or not they go with a character/pairing and you picking two songs increases the odds of you picking a song that I feel goes with the character/pairing you picked. If you get lucky and both songs fit the character/pairing, you may just get two ficlets! If you get super unlucky and both songs are songs I can't or won't write to, you can just pick more numbers. C:

White Collar is obviously my main fandom, but I'm willing to try my hand at Agent Carter, Agents of SHIELD, and... yeah, that's it. I still feel like I don't know enough about Natasha Romanoff to write her, sadly. And besides, I'm barely in these fandoms.

You should have seen me before this post though, I was downloading music like it was necessary for every song I've ever loved to be in my iTunes before this meme. (They keep disappearing because the drive I store my music on keeps crashing. Oh, the sweet days when I actually had all the songs I love.) I failed, because even I cannot download a thousand songs in an evening.
