I haven't written too much, and I want to at least try, so:

Give me a character (no repeats, please!) and a lyric, or a few lyrics, from a song that hits you right in the feels.

Title: Rust Or Gold, You Decide, What You See, What You Hold.
Characters (Pairings) Neal Caffrey, Sara Ellis (Neal/Sara)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 606
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: She decides what happens now. Not him.
Content Notes: Anorexia. Hallucinations.
Author's Note: Title from Rust Or Gold by Jill Andrews. S6 finale tag.
This is for my Music Is My Girlfriend meme (which is still open to prompts!), for the prompt Rust Or Gold - Neal, for [livejournal.com profile] treonb. My headspace is still shit. There is light in this story, though. (Let's not talk too much about the headspace.)
This is a sequel to She's Just Like The Weather, Can't Hold Her Together, and is set shortly after that (a hour at the very most, in fic-time).

I mention the lateness of the hour just in case I make a big bad boo boo, as a possible defense.

The fact that I've been Hamilton trash for over a month is relevant.

Hamilton, Jane Austen, and college )

Title: Check Shirts and Strawberries
Characters (Pairings): Sara Ellis, Neal Caffrey (Sara/Neal)
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 116
Spoilers: None.
Content Notes: Teh sexeh. *g*
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: The beginning of Neal and Sara's amis amants relationship.
Author's Note: Written late last night for the prompt 'new and improved' for TVU bingo.

So we're doing this, but we aren't? )
s2309: (writing)
I don't know why I signed up for this, because I have enough fics going on already, but this just feels like one of those things you do when you're in fandom, like brushing your teeth. Anyhow. Card. Yay!

Card! )
s2309: (Neal 4)
Title: Not This Time
Characters (Pairings): Neal Caffrey
Rating: PG
Word Count: 350
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin's brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: The only real thing wrong with Neal is that he's young. And that's something time can always cure. Will he let it?
Author's Note: The summary is a modified version of this prompt from [livejournal.com profile] comment_fic (which [livejournal.com profile] tigriswolf, the prompter, mentioned is from Jack Schaffer's 'Shane'). I thought of the title because of a lyric from Christina Perri's Butterfly, and then immediately heard Taylor Swift singing "Not this time" (from I Know Places). Music. *sigh*. This is for Challenge 16a at [livejournal.com profile] writerverse. I see this as set in S2, after Countermeasures, but you can read it however you like :)

Neal's been in a dance with time ever since he ran away from home. )

...except, I am well known for failing hugely at writing to prompts. But, considering that the word 'treat' means that fills can be short and don't have to eat my brain (but oh god, I know they will), I think I'm going to go for this. Wish me luck!

The first five people who come trick or treating at my door will get at least 75-100 words of a something. All you have to do is comment with "trick or treat!" and leave me a prompt or a pairing or a character or a song lyric or anything inspirational, really. And please post this at your own journal so I can come trick-or-treating at your place!
s2309: (Sara)
Title: One More Lonely Night
Characters (Pairings): Sara Ellis (references to past Sara/Neal)
Rating: PG
Word Count: 747 (heh.)
Spoilers: For 4x16, sort of, indirectly.
Disclaimer: White Collar is Jeff Eastin’s brainchild. Not mine.
Summary: It's midnight. Sara's alone in her new apartment in London.
Author’s Note: I'm not crossposting because it feels OOC to me and I have committed every run on sentence crime possible in this, and I've repeated the same thing so often that I don't even. But whatever.
Title's an altered lyric from The Lonely by Christina Perri
For Challenge #21 - Weekly Quick Fic #8 - at [livejournal.com profile] writerverse.
Part of the Amis Amants 'verse. For more in this verse, click here.

It's funny how often she ends up like this, lying on the floor of her apartment, takeout containers scattered next to her, pleasantly buzzed from the wine. )

Euh.

I have not been writing. Or editing. Or commenting on half the things I normally would have commented on.

Help me out a leetle? Thanksh :D

In the comments, leave me the name of a character and a noun or a phrase (place, emotion, thing, whatever). You can also specify a story from my masterlist, if you'd like, and I have a brand new cotton candy bingo card! I'll write you a drabble. Or more than a drabble (at least, I hope).
