30 Days Of Music - Day 11
Jun. 30th, 2014 11:03 amDay 11 - A song from your favourite band
Bands!! As usual, I can't pick just one, so here's my two absolute favourites :D
Hurts
This band is yet another reason why I'm so happy to be in the White Collar fandom. I heard Illuminated by Hurts in the background of a Neal/Sara vid and immediately fell in love. It's beautiful and haunting and brilliantly walks that fine line between happy and angsty.
The video I've embedded below is a live version because that's the only one they have on their official channel. I would have linked to a lyric video, but OMG, that live version is absolutely gorgeous. If you want to listen to the original studio version, the Neal/Sara vid I linked to above should do the trick :).

Seether
I have absolutely no idea why I like this band. It's a rock band, the lead singer growls more than he sings (for the most part), this isn't my usual kind of music. But beyond the growling, there's music that comes from emotion. I can feel it. That's why I love them.
It was so difficult to pick a song by them, omg. No Jesus Christ has an incredibly sexy guitar beat, Pride reminds me a little bit of Neal, Sold Me has this crazy jumping-from-ear-to-ear guitar bit.
I'm gonna have to pick Master of Disaster. It's another song that vaguely but not quite makes me think of Neal. I think of this song as Promises.
