This fic's been on my mind every time I listened to the album BADLANDS by Halsey in the past few months, so it's sort of gathered snow as it rolled downhill? And I must say, I didn't love Kate as much before I wrote this fic as I do now. For me, this story was a trip inside her head, a means of understanding her. And I enjoyed every minute of it. It wasn't work. It was my pleasure.
