Can we get more? I want more. This has all the makings of such an interesting universe...
I love how both Sara and Neal are still so recognizably them despite the different settings. And I love how things start slowly between them; how he subtly reminds her that he's interested and they agree on the one date if she wins his case (I love Sara's competitive side).
Then that night. Neal wants more, and Sara could just walk away but she agrees to meet again. The way they negotiated (I love the idea of Wednesdays, and all Neal's limits sounded very like him); how Sara showed Neal a bit of the club and then gave him space, both of them recognizing their limits.
The ending was very touching, when Neal decided someone should be the one to give Sara a shoulder to cry on and hold her when things get messy. She will probably stuggle with that, but Neal can be patient when he wants. I hope this relationship could be good for both of them.
Wondefully written and I can't wait to read more if you indeed expand this universe :)
