Date: 2014-07-19 11:08 pm (UTC)Jon Schmidt lives here in Utah. I have seen him perform many times. He also does frequent free performances outdoors. As well as being an amazing pianist he is a very nice person who sticks around after concerts to chat with everyone. On stage he is quite a goofball and does crazy tricks like playing from under the keyboard, backwards or blind and used to end by playing standing on the piano stool before backflipping off!
