Date: 2014-08-25 02:13 pm (UTC)I can still keep writing Neal+Peter bromance and Neal and Rachel's whatever it is, right?Neal/Sara. I love writing the two of them together, and no matter how the show ends, I will somehow find a way for them to be together. I love them muchly :D
28. Share three of your favorite fic writers and why you like them so much.
From my days in the Alex Rider fandom, chariots99. She has a fabulous AU series pairing Alex with a spectacularly written OC and lots of crazy, dangerous adventures. Also, a series of hysterical drabbles. I love her humour and all the crazy plot.
From the Twilight fandom (yes, yes, i know, but apparently you can hate a book and still want to read fanfic for it), Amberdeengirl. She has the most beautiful ballet!AU that I love less for the plot and more for all the dancing and the music she sometimes mentions at various points in the fic. I also love her story featuring Alice Cullen, The Short Sugar Plum Fairy.
From the Harry Potter fandom, Jack Of Some Trades. I should preface this by saying that I have read exactly read one fic by Jack. But that one fic was The Dangers of Miscommunication, which is hilarious every single time I read it. I have to go read some of her other fics now, but seriously. That fic. I cannot get enough of it.
(can you see how I'm avoiding White Collar so I don't offend anyone?)
37. Talk about your current wips.
Oh, I have a lot of those. I have the giant bunny that's taken over my mind, the two longfics languishing from lack of attention, a few ideas that were dropped for no particular reason, and one that I still hope will see daylight.
One of the longfics is an AU from 5x11, in which Rachel uses Neal as a human shield to get out, and then essentially finds new and inventive ways to break Neal's heart. The other is an AU from 4x16, in which Peter doesn't get cleared, Neal isolates himself from everyone else and Elizabeth hurts Neal. And then everyone meets for Christmas dinner and everything's fixed :D
The giant bunny. Don't even get me started. It's sort of a rethinking of Neal's life course if he didn't team up with Moz. Neal still hates guns and life still throws shit at him. Except he doesn't have Moz to count on. So he ends up a little darker and less optimistic than the canon Neal.
The fic I hope to post soon is a Neal/Sara London story, told entirely from Sara's POV. It just needs a bit of a rewrite. Neal's POV is trying to sneak in, but I think I'll save that for an outtake, I want to stay in Sara's head for the duration of this fic :D
